Instagram Inspirations

Over the years I've gotten better at sharing things..  to say the least, growing up on an island raised as an only child has its pros and cons. We can talk about that in another post.

Throughout my “daily” routines I noticed how much of a role Instagram plays in keeping me inspired. So much that I thought why not share my faves to follow during this Women’s History Month.

Though I don't know all of these women, I love the energy they bring to my timeline.

& in no particular order…

@shionat

Native of Bermuda and very fashion forward, Shiona has been my big sister (in my head) ever since my cousin sent me her page in a text message - four years ago.. end of story.

@keikibikini

KeiKi - the illest swimsuit designer, a true gem. her spirit and brand go hand-in-hand, both daring and free. I'm lucky to be able to call her my friend.

PS: We all know a woman only shows her a$$ on the internet if she's wearing KASS!

@ravieb

I started following Raven B, NY Native photographer, a few years ago. she knows your favorite rapper's best side and I loved her #findmebytheflowers campaign. Did you see her images from Jay-Z’s 4:44 tour?

@myleik

If you don’t follow Myleik, do so now. Her work ethic is unmatched. She does her best at being her best and giving her best to everything she touches, which ultimately turns to gold.

@karina_austin

Karina is doll! I adore her sense of style and energetic spirit. I've been following her on Tumblr for quite some time.. when she announced the launch of The 9th Sol I was so excited to keep up with her site.

@ZIMism

When I read Zim's story (which was a caption on one of her photos a while back) I fell in love with her brand. Her daring determination to travel, as much as she possibly can, while bringing as many people along with her is remarkable. Whenever I need a three minute break from life I tend to her IG feed to feel relieved.

@ChrisAdorVegaaa & @VegasPlayHouse

I stumbled upon this beauty's page during my college years and we've been friends *in my head since*. VegasPlayHouse is what I like to call my fashion go-to house. Their thread is filled with gorgeous high-end designer pieces. If you look closely, you’ll learn how to figure out how to style pieces; and how to make them work for you and your pockets.

@karleenroy

I’ll probably quit my job and work for Karleen this summer. Shh, don’t tell anyone. In all seriousness, she’s IT. Karleen founded her own luxury event management firm, The Vanity Group, who probably put together your favorite rapper’s birthday party.

Sending much love + light to these ladies sending positive vibes + inspiration through Instagram. I know I definitely appreciate it.
